ME Bank expands its branding with opening of new branches

ME Bank, formerly known as Members Equity Bank, has announced that it has opened three new branches in addition to new services available for greater customer satisfaction. The three branches are located with one in the Melbourne CBD and two in Canberra.
Services from ME Bank will now also include a personalised financial planning service that is offered through the Industry Fund Financial Planning (IFFP) with Financial Planning and Business Banking consultants available by appointment.
ME Bank was initially created in 1999 and was designed to cater for low cost home loans for Australian workers, proving popular with The Australian Council of trade Unions (ACTU) with ME Bank actually owned by a number of industry superannuation funds.
The banking industry has experienced a great deal of media attention over recent weeks with the big four banks in Australia attempting to improve their customer relations and image with moves of fee cutting and announcements of new promotions and offers.
