NEXT week's visit to Wollongong by ANZ Bank deputy chief economist Tony Pearson won't be his first.

ANZ Business Banking senior relationship manager Warren Bobin said those attending next Wednesday's Illawarra On Show Business Expo executive luncheon in the Premier's Room at the WEC could expect to hear an accomplished speaker with international speaking experience in Europe, Asia and the United States.

Tony previously spent 17 years with the RBA and has a deep understanding of what drives interest rate policy decisions.

He is co-author of a book on international financial markets, had a television segment on the Sunrise program and has regularly written for the financial press.
